About the Role
Field Operations & GIS Coordinator
Hours: 36 hours per week
Salary: €3,824 – €5,624 gross per month
Location: Bergschenhoek, South Holland
Job Description – Coordinate daily operations at the municipal worksite and GIS, with focus on task execution and staff guidance.
Identify and analyze developments, translate insights into process improvements, initiate improvement actions, and implement changes in policy execution.
Execute maintenance plans and manage assets for both the municipal worksite and the GIS.
Monitor finances, scheduling, and control of maintenance and operational plans.
Prepare advice, contribute to policy development, and manage the political-administrative decision-making process.
Schedule inspections, repairs, materials, and resources; carry out maintenance and usage checks.
Participate in projects, maintain contact with internal clients and suppliers, and discuss potential improvements with stakeholders.
Manage cemeteries: supervise cemetery managers, resolve operational issues, and develop cemetery-related policies.
Team & Collaboration
You provide operational leadership to field staff and the Ground Materials Collection Station (GIS) team. You are responsible for day-to-day operations at the municipal worksite and GIS, supervising activities, and serving as the first point of contact for administrative support staff, secretaries, and work schedulers.
Work Location & Hours
You work across multiple locations; your primary base is Bergschenhoek. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:30.
Requirements
HBO (higher professional education) level of working and thinking.
Proven experience in a coordinating role.
Experience with the Planning & Control (P&C) cycle.
Familiarity with process improvement and continuous development.
