deWeerd Infra-support is a young, growing company providing engineering, environmental management, and execution coordination for cables and pipelines for network operators, municipalities, and contractors. We’re looking for a pioneering CAD/GIS specialist who knows AutoCAD, InfraCAD, and GIS inside out—and enjoys helping build a company from the ground up.
Knowledge of cables and pipelines is a plus, but not required—we’ll teach you.
What You’ll Do:
Draft and develop designs in AutoCAD and InfraCAD, meeting the requirements of network operators and municipalities
Create maps and perform GIS analyses, and maintain our geospatial data
Process KLIC data, BGT (Base Registration of Addresses and Buildings), and cadastral subsurface data into reliable design foundations
Incorporate revisions to ensure drawings reflect what’s actually in the ground
Support engineering with cross-sections, crossings, and quantity take-offs
Establish and implement our drafting standards, block library, and GIS environment—your ideas become our standards
You won’t work on just one project—you’ll lay the groundwork for our entire company.
Who You Are:
Expert-level AutoCAD skills: layers, blocks, xrefs, layouts, and plot styles are second nature to you
Proficient with InfraCAD or similar tools (e.g., Civil 3D)
Experience with QGIS or ArcGIS, RD coordinates, NAP (Amsterdam datum), and file formats like DWG, DXF, SHP, and GML
Several years of experience as a CAD/GIS drafter or drafting engineer (any sector)
MBO-4 or HBO-level work and thinking ability (e.g., civil engineering, geoinformation, or construction)
Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and independent
A true pioneer: energized by building things, bringing forward ideas, and stepping in where needed
What You’ll Learn With Us:
Everything about cables and pipelines: electricity, gas, water, data, and sewer systems
Guidelines from network operators: CROW 500, Wibon, and KLIC
How a design evolves from drawing to execution—by contributing to real projects
VCA Basis/Vol certification, at our expense
What We Offer:
Salary: €3,400 – €4,300 gross per month (40 hours/week), depending on experience and software expertise
Holiday Allowance: 8% of your gross annual salary
Holiday Days: 25 days for full-time employment
Workstation: Laptop with licenses for AutoCAD, InfraCAD, and GIS, plus a phone
Training: Budget and time for courses, certifications, and software learning
Travel: €0.23 per kilometer for business travel
Growth: A clear path toward engineer, and—depending on company growth—toward senior or leadership roles
