Your Responsibilities: Further development and maintenance of our LandManager software—built on QGIS and GeoServer—for the sustainable management of drinking water protection areas and other applications Data analysis and development of processing chains for GIS and remote sensing data using Python and R Development of machine learning models for the analysis of remote sensing data (drones and satellites) Application and integration of AI tools into the development workflow Customer consultation and second-level support for our applications Qualifications: In addition to proficiency in the programming languages mentioned, you should have strong German and English skills; French is an advantage for our international projects. You are motivated to develop independent solutions and actively contribute within the team. Your analytical skills are reliable—even for complex questions—and your work is thorough and forward-looking. You understand that quality software development involves more than coding: it also means direct interaction with customers and end users. You hold a completed degree (or equivalent qualification) in geoinformatics or a related field and have some professional experience. Required Experience: Development of QGIS plugins using Python Development of data processing applications with Python and R Basic knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Familiarity with GeoServer and geospatial data processing and publishing Experience analyzing satellite and remote sensing data using machine learning techniques Databases: PostgreSQL/PostGIS and MS SQL Server Operating systems: Windows and Linux Agile development methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira) Your Benefits: Diverse work in a small, dynamic team located in central Munich Strong career prospects with opportunities for qualification and further training Flexible working hours and the ability to work independently
