GIS Analyst Specialist

Key Responsibilities Conduct spatial analyses within GIS environments Analyze local spatial development plans Create maps, graphic attachments, and other cartographic materials Acquire and process vector and raster spatial data Prepare data on land use, urban development, transport networks, protected areas, and environmental conditions Work with CAD files in a GIS environment Collaborate on preparing reports, studies, presentations, and documentation related to environmental protection Conduct field surveys as part of a measurement team to inventory noise sources and emission sources Manage spatial databases Participate in the development and automation of repetitive GIS processes Requirements Relevant academic background (e.g., spatial management, geodesy, geography, environmental protection, or related fields) and experience in GIS data processing Experience in creating and updating spatial data and performing GIS analyses Practical knowledge of GIS software (QGIS / ArcGIS) Proficiency in handling complex attribute tables and tabular data Solid understanding of spatial information systems Competency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team Creativity, logical and analytical thinking Attention to detail and commitment to data quality Working knowledge of English and/or German Preferred Qualifications Interest in GIS-related topics Experience applying GIS in environmental protection, spatial planning, transport, or infrastructure projects Basic Python knowledge and interest in GIS process automation Experience processing LiDAR/NMT/NMPT data Familiarity with various spatial data sources (e.g., GUGiK, GDOŚ, BDOT10k, NMT/NMPT, MPZP, OpenStreetMap) Understanding of photogrammetric processes What We Offer Opportunity to work on interesting and prestigious projects, including those for state-owned enterprises Diverse projects across the automotive, linear infrastructure, industrial, and acoustics sectors Stable employment within an experienced and supportive team Private medical care Subsidized sports card Additional life insurance
