Junior GIS Specialist

Key Responsibilities Preparing spatial analyses in a GIS environment Analyzing local spatial development plans (MPZP) Creating maps, graphic attachments, and other cartographic materials Acquiring and processing vector and raster spatial data Preparing data related to land use, urban development, transport networks, protected areas, and environmental conditions Working with CAD files within a GIS environment Supporting the preparation of reports, studies, presentations, and documentation related to environmental protection Conducting spatial inventories of noise and emission sources as part of measurement teams (fieldwork) Managing spatial databases Participating in the development and automation of repetitive GIS processes Requirements Degree in a relevant field (spatial management, geodesy, geography, environmental protection, or related disciplines) and experience in GIS data processing Experience in creating and updating spatial data and performing GIS analyses Practical knowledge of GIS software (QGIS / ArcGIS) Ability to work with complex attribute tables and tabular data Understanding of spatial information systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team Creativity, logical and analytical thinking Accuracy and attention to quality in data preparation Good command of English and/or German (communicative level) Nice-to-Have Qualifications Interest in GIS-related topics Experience applying GIS in environmental protection, spatial planning, transport, or infrastructure projects Basic knowledge of Python and interest in GIS process automation Experience processing LiDAR/NMT/NMPT data Familiarity with various spatial data sources (e.g., GUGiK, GDOŚ, BDOT10k, NMT/NMPT, MPZP, OpenStreetMap) Knowledge of photogrammetric processes Offer Opportunity to work on interesting and prestigious projects, including those for state-owned enterprises Diverse projects in the automotive, linear infrastructure, industrial, and acoustics sectors Stable employment in an experienced and supportive team Private medical care Subsidy for a sports card Additional life insurance I consent to the processing of my personal data provided in this application form and collected during the recruitment process by KFB Technologies, with its registered office at ul.
