For our Water Sampling team within the Centre for Water Expertise & Innovation (CWI), we are looking for an MBO-4 or HBO intern with an interest in GIS, data, and process improvement. During this internship, you will investigate how location-based data is managed and used within the Water Sampling department. You will map existing systems and data sources, analyze bottlenecks, and develop recommendations for a central, future-proof solution—helping colleagues work faster and more efficiently. No two days are the same, and your work contributes to something vital: Vitens delivers 1 billion litres of top-quality drinking water every single day. What You’ll Be Working On During your internship, you will: Inventory the systems, apps, and data sources currently used within Water Sampling Analyze the quality and accessibility of location data Identify practical challenges faced by users Explore options for centrally making location data available Develop a practical, future-proof recommendation for a new solution You’ll collaborate with various colleagues and have ample opportunity to conduct independent research.
