For our Sampling team within the Centre for Water Expertise & Innovation (CWI), we are looking for an MBO-4 or HBO intern with an interest in GIS, data, and process improvement. During this internship, you will investigate how location data is managed and used within the Sampling department. You will map existing systems and data sources, analyze pain points, and develop recommendations for a centralized and future-proof solution—helping colleagues work faster and more efficiently. No two days are the same, and your work contributes to something vital: every day, Vitens delivers 1 billion litres of top-quality drinking water. What You’ll Be Working On During your internship, you will: Inventory the systems, apps, and data sources currently used within the Sampling team Analyze the quality and accessibility of location data Identify practical challenges faced by users in their daily work Explore options for centrally making location data available Develop a practical, future-proof recommendation for improvement You will collaborate with various colleagues and have ample opportunity to conduct independent research.
