GIS Data Processing & Platform Testing Intern (BIM 3D Focus, Guangzhou)

Position Overview This position is sourced from Liepin. Job Responsibilities: Multi-source Spatial Data Processing: - Process diverse spatial data including Revit BIM models, CAD planning drawings, SHP vector files, oblique photogrammetry-based 3D实景 models, cadastral/land-use thematic data, and remote sensing raster data. - Assist in database ingestion for PostgreSQL+PostGIS and domestic Dameng databases, including data import, spatial index configuration, and standardization of data tables. BIM Model Lightweighting: - Convert RVT files to IFC/3DTiles formats. - Perform model layering and grading, standardize component attributes, and optimize models through mesh reduction. System Testing: - Develop test cases for the platform. - Record, track, and verify bug fixes; validate consistency between data and platform display. - Follow up on issue feedback and ensure full resolution闭环 (closed-loop resolution). Implementation Support: - Assist in project coordination and documentation. - Support functional development tasks. Requirements: Currently enrolled in a related field (e.g., surveying, GIS, urban planning, civil engineering, or computer science); availability for full-time internship of 6 months or more. Foundational knowledge of GIS and proficiency in ArcGIS/QGIS; prior exposure to BIM and Revit is preferred. Understanding of basic software testing principles; ability to independently map functional workflows and write test cases. Detail-oriented, patient, and proficient in basic Microsoft Office tools for writing test and data documentation. Willingness to support on-site project coordination in Guangzhou and Shenzhen; strong learning agility required.
