About the Role
Job Title
GIS Developer (F/H) – Develop a Cartographic Observatory for Climate Events
Context
We aim to implement a cartographic demonstrator to monitor climate and environmental events, showcasing the value of open data and demonstrating the capabilities of our SIG platform. To this end, we are building a web-based SIG portal to aggregate and analyze public data on natural risks—including wildfires, floods, storms, and other major events.
The solution will deliver a modern, interactive user experience, combining web mapping, indicators, dashboards, and real-time visualization, leveraging existing components of the Coexya SIG platform.
Your Missions
After an initial training period on the platform, your responsibilities will include:
Researching and selecting relevant open data sources and defining data ingestion mechanisms.
Designing and developing the cartographic portal and associated dashboards.
Implementing services for data integration, processing, and valorization.
Developing indicators and analytical tools to monitor and understand events.
Integrating the application into Coexya’s existing SIG platform components and automating its deployment.
