Job Description
Title: GIS Developer (F/H) – Develop a Cartographic Observatory for Climate Events
Context
We aim to implement a cartographic demonstrator to monitor climate and environmental events, showcasing the capabilities of our SIG platform using open data. The project involves building a web-based GIS portal to aggregate and analyze public datasets related to natural risks—such as wildfires, floods, storms, and major environmental events.
The solution will deliver a modern, interactive user experience combining web mapping, KPIs, dashboards, and real-time visualization, leveraging existing components of Coexya’s SIG platform.
Key Responsibilities
Research and select relevant open data sources and define data ingestion mechanisms.
Design and develop the cartographic portal and associated dashboards.
Implement geospatial data integration, processing, and valorization services.
Develop indicators and analysis tools to track and understand climate events.
Integrate the application into Coexya’s existing SIG platform and automate deployment.
