About the Role
Position Title: GIS Developer (F/H) – Develop an AI-Assisted Web Module for SLD Generation
Context
Coexya’s web-based GIS platform aims to make geospatial data sharing more accessible and efficient. To further enhance data visualization, we are introducing a new feature: AI-assisted generation of cartographic styles. For this, we plan to develop a web module that automatically generates SLD (Style Layer Descriptor) files—aligned with the OGC standard and directly usable by the platform’s mapping services.
The module will allow users to generate styles either from data layer characteristics (attributes, geometry types, values, etc.) or via natural language instructions.
Your Missions
After initial training on unfamiliar technical components, your responsibilities will include:
Studying and selecting the technical framework for module development and AI integration.
Developing mechanisms for generating and validating SLD files produced by AI.
Integrating the module into the platform’s existing mapping components.
