Job Title GIS Engineer (2027 Campus Recruitment) Job Responsibilities Lead GIS-related software development for company products and contribute to GIS technical solution design; Develop functionalities—including spatiotemporal data storage, flow, analysis, and visualization—based on open-source GIS frameworks; Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, high-level and detailed design, coding, debugging, unit testing, and technical support; Author technical documentation, including solution designs, test and analysis reports, software copyrights, and patents. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geography Information Science, Geographic Information Systems, Surveying/Geomatics Engineering, Remote Sensing, or related fields; Familiarity with OGC standards such as WCS and WFS, and common geospatial data formats including KML, GML, Shapefile, GeoJSON, and 3DTiles; - Knowledge of frontend GIS technologies (e.g., Cesium, OpenLayers, Potree, Mapbox) and backend technologies (e.g., GDAL, GeoServer, MapServer, GeoTools); Strong English proficiency to read technical documents, academic papers, and patents, and experience using Git and common defect-tracking tools; Prior experience in designing and optimizing geospatial databases is preferred.
