GIS / Geospatial Data Scientist (UN Client)

infom consulting GmbH is looking for a GIS / Geospatial Data Scientist to support a United Nations client. Contract: 6 months, extendable, 8 hours a day, fully remote from Western or Northern Europe. Pay is a daily rate in EUR quoted by the applicant. Responsibilities: Assess raster and vector datasets, boundaries, coordinate systems and data quality. Implement reprojection, geometry validation, spatial joins and proximity workflows. Publish validated data for APIs and map services, and support OGC services. Work with data engineering and data governance teams. Requirements: Relevant degree and proven geospatial data engineering experience. ArcGIS, QGIS, GDAL, PostGIS, GeoServer, GeoPandas, Rasterio, spatial SQL; Azure, AWS or GCP; OGC standards; ISO 19115 / DCAT metadata.
