Job Description
Within the evolution of a geospatial ecosystem designed for managing industrial sites, buildings, and infrastructure for a major industrial client, you will contribute to the design and improvement of business mapping services (Mapping Business Services – MBS), accessible via the company’s enterprise GIS portal.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
Analyze user needs and translate them into mapping workflows, data structures, and functional requirements;
Review existing maps, applications, services, and content to identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, or reuse;
Design and prototype web maps, GIS applications, and mapping services using standard capabilities of the GIS platform;
Contribute to the structuring, integration, and validation of spatial data, followed by functional, technical, and usability testing of solutions;
Analyze service usage and performance, propose enhancements, and produce documentation necessary for deployment and evolution.
You may use ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, web mapping services, and various GIS application components. Depending on the assigned projects, the environment may also include Python or ArcPy, FME, SQL, APIs, and tools for version control and automated deployment.
You will be integrated into a multidisciplinary team comprising functional analysts, GIS experts, developers, and data, integration, and portal administration specialists.
Supervised by a tutor and an operational manager, you will also collaborate with teams responsible for operations, data quality, security, and user support. This will give you a complete overview of the GIS service lifecycle—from requirement gathering to operational deployment.

Qualifications
You are pursuing a Master’s-level (Bac+5) degree in geomatics, computer science, information systems, data engineering, or an equivalent program;
You have foundational knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS), spatial data, or web application development;
Prior experience with Esri technologies, Python, SQL, FME, or APIs is a plus, though not mandatory;
Curious, detail-oriented, and autonomous, you possess strong analytical and synthesis skills, enjoy teamwork, and are user experience–oriented;
Given the international context of the mission, a working proficiency in English is required for professional communication.
