GIS Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION Implement and deliver GIS data for ongoing center projects, supporting research and application of digital technologies and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Collect, verify, and clean input data from various sources: CAD, DGN, PNG, JPG, OSM, etc. Validate and correct data, perform coordinate system transformations. Convert and standardize data from multiple formats into GIS-compatible formats. Ensure data quality, identify and resolve topology and geometry errors. Update planning, administrative, current status, and transportation data into the GIS system. Package GIS databases in required formats (e.g., shapefile, GeoJSON, file geodatabase). Participate in developing processes and training documentation for the department. Support and contribute ideas to relevant departmental projects. Report work progress and data processing outcomes regularly. Research and apply GIS technologies and solutions to enhance the company’s ecosystem products. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field. Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a comparable position. SKILLS: Strong data analytical and logical thinking skills. Proficiency in office software, AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS, QGIS, etc. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Planning and time management skills. Conflict resolution and adaptability to unexpected situations. Emotional regulation and stress management. Efficient time and task management. KNOWLEDGE: Understanding of land law, construction, and real estate regulations. Knowledge of GIS, GIS databases, and data analysis techniques. Familiarity with land management, cadastral mapping, and 3D digital mapping. Understanding of data structures. Other Requirements: Good physical health.
