GIS Specialist

Since our founding in 2000, we have consistently grown and now operate on engineering and consulting projects worldwide. We are looking to onboard a GIS Specialist with experience in ESRI technologies to participate in digital transformation, asset management, and infrastructure projects. You will join multidisciplinary teams responsible for developing, managing, and evolving enterprise geospatial solutions for key clients. Main Responsibilities Administer and operate ESRI-based GIS platforms. Publish, configure, and maintain geospatial services. Automate workflows using Python and GIS tools. Develop and execute processes for managing, transforming, and analyzing geographic information. Provide functional and technical support to users and project teams. Troubleshoot issues and optimize GIS environments. Participate in initiatives to integrate GIS platforms with corporate systems. Required Qualifications Demonstrable experience with ESRI technologies: * ArcGIS Pro * ArcGIS Enterprise / Portal for ArcGIS * GIS service publishing and management * Geodatabase administration * Geospatial content and data management Experience in development and automation using Python: * ArcPy * Geoprocessing automation * Script and tool development * Geographic data processing and analysis Solid knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS): * Coordinate systems and reprojections * Vector and raster data * Geoprocessing * Topology * OGC standards (e.g., WMS, WFS) * Spatial databases * Publishing and consuming geospatial services Preferred Qualifications Advanced ArcGIS Enterprise administration experience Knowledge of security, monitoring, log analysis, and performance optimization Experience with ArcGIS API for Python, GeoPandas, and other geospatial libraries Familiarity with open-source technologies: * QGIS * GeoServer * GDAL/OGR * PostGIS * OGC standards (WMS, WFS, WMTS) Web GIS development knowledge: * Leaflet * ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript Professional Profile We seek a candidate with strong analytical skills, a problem-solving orientation, and a passion for geospatial technologies.
