GIS Specialist

Position We are seeking to incorporate a GIS Specialist with experience in ESRI technologies to participate in digital transformation, asset management, and infrastructure projects. You will join multidisciplinary teams responsible for developing, administering, and evolving enterprise geospatial solutions for key clients. Main Responsibilities Administration and operation of ESRI-based GIS platforms. Publishing, configuring, and maintaining geospatial services. Automating workflows using Python and GIS tools. Developing and executing processes for managing, transforming, and analyzing geographic information. Providing functional and technical support to users and project teams. Resolving incidents and optimizing GIS environments. Participating in initiatives to integrate GIS platforms with corporate systems. Mandatory Requirements Demonstrable experience with ESRI technologies: - ArcGIS Pro - ArcGIS Enterprise / Portal for ArcGIS - GIS service publishing and management - Geodatabase administration - Management of geospatial content and data Experience in development and automation using Python: - ArcPy - Geoprocessing automation - Script and tool development - Processing and analysis of geographic information Solid knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS): - Coordinate systems and reprojections - Vector and raster data - Geoprocessing - Topology - OGC standards (e.g., WMS, WFS, WMTS) - Spatial databases - Publishing and consuming geospatial services Preferred Qualifications Advanced ArcGIS Enterprise administration experience Knowledge of security, monitoring, log analysis, and performance optimization Experience with ArcGIS API for Python, GeoPandas, and other geospatial libraries Knowledge of open-source technologies: - QGIS - GeoServer - GDAL/OGR - PostGIS - OGC standards (WMS, WFS, WMTS) Web GIS development skills: - Leaflet - ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript Professional Profile We seek a candidate with strong analytical skills, a problem-solving orientation, and a passion for geospatial technologies.
