Regionalwerke Neckar-Kocher GmbH & Co. KG is a regional utility network operator. With around 65 employees, the company reliably operates infrastructure to supply private households, businesses, and industry in the region with essential services—including gas, water, heat, and electricity.
Regionalwerke Neckar-Kocher GmbH & Co. KG is looking for you, starting as soon as possible, as a:
GIS Specialist (m/f/d) in Surveying and Pipeline Documentation
in full-time (the position is fundamentally divisible).
Your responsibilities include:
Independently conducting surveying measurements to document utility pipelines (gas, water, and heat) using modern GNSS technology
Capturing and maintaining surveying data, as well as planned construction projects, in the Geographic Information System (GIS), including database maintenance
Processing pipeline inquiries and issuing pipeline information in common file formats (PDF, DXF, DWG)
Analyzing pipeline data for statistical purposes, particularly in relation to requirements of the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW)
Preparing technical expert opinions within the framework of building permit procedures
Your profile:
Completed university degree in surveying, geoinformatics, or a related field; alternatively, completed vocational training as a surveying technician, geomatics engineer, or equivalent qualification
Proficiency in using GIS software and, ideally, domain-specific applications (e.g., Geograf, Ingrada, or CAD)
Suitable for both entry-level candidates and experienced professionals returning to the workforce
Valid driver’s license (Class B)
