About the Role
What awaits you
As a mining surveyor (Markscheider) at K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH, you will be responsible for leading surveying operations at the Bernburg and Braunschweig-Lüneburg sites. You will actively shape surveying and geotechnical processes in mining and play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.
In addition, you will assume the following responsibilities from the earliest possible start date:
Technical and disciplinary leadership of surveying at two locations
Independent planning and execution of mining surveying projects
Supervision and oversight of surveying activities in accordance with applicable legal regulations
Execution, evaluation, and documentation of all types of surveying and geotechnical work—both above and below ground
GIS and CAD processing to update mining maps and plans
Creation of thematic maps and plans from existing data
Use of various surveying instruments, including total stations, leveling equipment, laser scanners, and satellite-based positioning techniques

What you bring
Successfully completed university degree in mining surveying (Dipl.-Ing. or Master’s)
Successfully completed traineeship (AdM) with formal recognition as a mining surveyor by a state mining authority
Prior work experience or internships in mining operations are advantageous
Proficiency in GIS, CAD, and Microsoft Office applications
Team orientation, assertiveness, and a strong safety-conscious mindset
Medical fitness for long-term underground work (grubentauglich)
Excellent command of German, both written and spoken, and a valid Class B driver’s license (regular travel between sites is required)
