GIS Specialist – Permitting & Planning (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
Responsibility for the administration, maintenance, and further development of geospatial datasets
Ensuring high data quality through verification, preparation, and harmonization of geospatial data
Creation, analysis, and visualization of georeferenced information in the form of maps, dashboards, and reports
Development and optimization of geospatial models, databases, and data structures
Acting as the technical liaison between planning, permitting, construction, and other project stakeholders
Supporting the standardization of geospatial processes across multiple projects
Contributing to the digitalization and automation of geospatial workflows
Integrating geospatial data into central project and information management systems

Your Profile
Completed university degree in Geoinformatics, Geography, or a related field (e.g., Cartography)
Experience with ArcGIS Pro; knowledge of ArcGIS Server, QGIS, and FME Desktop is desirable
Practical experience applying GIS functionalities for data acquisition, processing, and spatial analysis
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autochart for ArcGIS Pro
Confident use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in process automation for georeferenced data processing
Familiarity with BIM systems is advantageous
Knowledge of quality assurance for geospatial or thematic databases
Very good German and good English language skills
