What awaits you:
Support and maintain our GIS applications (ESRI, VertiGIS, SPIE Infograph), including installation, maintenance, and configuration, ensuring seamless infrastructure operation.
Continuously deepen your expertise in GIS applications—both cloud-based and on-premise—and grow your technical competencies over time.
Provide 2nd-level support: analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and implement service requests to ensure reliable GIS application performance.
With growing experience, assist in application support by analyzing and resolving issues, and actively contribute to GIS data quality assurance.
Participate in GIS projects, support quality assurance efforts, and collaborate closely with our development teams to evaluate customer requirements from an operational perspective.
Your profile:
Completed IT degree, IT vocational training, or equivalent qualification.
Interest in Geographic Information Systems and a desire to work in a dynamic environment with diverse requirements and client sectors.
Team orientation and enthusiasm for independently developing and advancing topics.
Enthusiasm for support work; ideally, experience in application management following ITIL and in 2nd- and 3rd-level incident resolution.
Strong technical understanding and interest in future-proof technologies such as cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Docker, ESRI-GIS, etc.
Fluent German (minimum C1 level) for effective customer consultation.
What we offer:
Onboarding remotely or on-site with a mentor (‘Patenmodell’).
Flexible working hours (40 hrs/week) with overtime compensation and 30 days of annual leave.
Hybrid work options, including remote work from home for individual days.
Ongoing training opportunities—including GIS application courses and support for maintaining your ITIL certification—as well as clear career development paths (both technical and leadership tracks) and transparent competency frameworks.
Monthly informal team meetings—great for networking and idea exchange—either on-site or virtually.
Top-tier equipment: HP Elite tablets or notebooks, or MacBooks; Jabra headsets; iPhone (also for private use); sit-stand desks.
Informal ‘Du’ culture at all levels and an internal social intranet.
A modern working environment equipped with creative spaces, co-working areas, and collaboration tools/hardware—ideal for hybrid work (mix of office and remote).
