Responsibilities
Handle inquiries and provide map information related to pipelines, and prepare statements and crossing agreements
Negotiate with landowners, farmers, and authorities to obtain pipeline rights and construction permits, including contract conclusion and administration
Calculate and process compensation payments, and manage existing mitigation and compensation measures with success monitoring
Coordinate external service providers and experts during rights acquisition
Maintain and document contracts and land data in internal systems, and update official cadastral information (ALKIS)
Communicate and correspond with adjacent landowners and project proponents, including requesting surveying data
Capture and visualize pipeline assets within the geographic information system (GIS)
Requirements
Completed training as a surveying technician, notary or legal clerk, or commercial training with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience in the required field
Proficient in using geographic information systems (e.g., Smallworld)
Preferably, prior relevant experience in infrastructure projects, nature conservation compensation and mitigation measures, and knowledge of land valuation methods and agricultural valuation standards
In-depth knowledge and experience in real property law, including all matters related to land registers
Comprehensive knowledge and preferably practical experience in easement rights and proprietary rights (e.g., limited personal servitudes), as well as construction, procurement, and contract law (VOB/B – German Procurement and Contract Regulations for Construction Services), planning and building law, and the Technical Rules for Pipeline Pipelines (TRFL)
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging discussions
Structured, independent, and proficient in MS Office and digital documentation systems
IT-savvy: experienced and skilled in database-supported processing of easement rights
