Company: EULEN Flexiplán Title: Head of Cartography and GIS – Water Networks (Permanent Contract) Location: Donostia/San Sebastián About the Role: Gipuzkoako Urak is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Cartography and GIS Manager in Donostia/San Sebastián. The selected candidate will be responsible for the management and digitization of cartographic and GIS data, as well as the development and maintenance of mathematical models for water and wastewater networks. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and digitalization of geographic and infrastructure mapping data. Develop, validate, and update hydraulic and hydrological models for water supply and sanitation networks. Support planning, design, and execution of civil engineering works related to water infrastructure. Coordinate and guide technical teams involved in mapping, surveying, and GIS implementation. Ensure data quality, consistency, and integration across GIS platforms and engineering systems. Desired Profile: Proven experience in GIS and cartographic management, particularly in water utility or infrastructure contexts. Experience in infrastructure project planning and execution. Strong analytical skills and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS), hydraulic modeling tools (e.g., EPANET, MIKE), and database management.
