About the Role
Exciting: Your Responsibilities
Technical Support: You will provide technical support for the ProsozBau software and various GIS applications and databases (e.g., GeoShop, WebGIS, QGIS, PostGIS, ALKIS) for our association administrations, ensuring stable and secure operations.
Troubleshooting & Support: You will analyze complex issues—particularly at the interface between applications and IT infrastructure—and resolve them as part of 2nd-level support, collaborating with 3rd-level support when needed.
System Administration & Operations: You will manage, configure, and further develop associated systems and servers, ensuring secure and high-performing operations through monitoring and server patching.
Updates & Enhancements: You will evaluate updates, releases, and patches; plan and conduct software updates and tests to continuously improve our applications.
Integration & Infrastructure: You will ensure seamless integration of applications into the existing IT infrastructure—including Windows Terminal Server, Application Server, and Web Server—and coordinate closely with internal departments.
Workflows & User Management: You will support user rights management (including AD synchronization), manage digital workflows, and contribute to central client software distribution.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: You will create documentation and operational guides, and independently familiarize yourself with new features and modules.
Suitable: Your Profile
Qualification: You hold a degree in (business) informatics or have completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) for system integration, along with several years of practical experience in complex IT infrastructures—or possess comparable expertise and experience.
IT Expertise: You have several years of hands-on experience in administering and operating Windows, Linux server, and client environments, as well as solid knowledge of current Microsoft and Linux client and server technologies in network and server environments.
Language Skills: You have very good German language skills (at least C1 level), both written and spoken.
Analytical Skills: You systematically analyze technical questions, quickly identify interrelationships, and develop practical, sustainable solutions.
Sense of Responsibility: You maintain oversight of technical requirements and coordinate measures to ensure consistently high software availability, IT security, and stable operations.
Communication & Customer Orientation: You work in a service-oriented manner, communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, and demonstrate teamwork skills and strong customer focus.
