Role Description The Map Operation role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Hanoi Capital Region. The role involves managing and updating digital maps and related data to support smart transport infrastructure and toll collection systems. Day-to-day tasks include collecting, analyzing, and validating location-based information, coordinating with internal teams to ensure data accuracy, and monitoring map performance to identify and resolve operational issues. The position also requires collaborating with operations and project teams to support new deployments, reporting on map-related metrics, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The Map Operation specialist will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that map data aligns with business needs and enhances customer experience. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret map data, identify patterns, and support data-driven decisions. Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Candidates should possess Sales awareness and customer-centric thinking to understand how map operations impact service quality and user experience. Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to oversee day-to-day map maintenance and ensure efficient workflows. Candidates should possess Project Management skills to support implementation of new mapping features and infrastructure-related initiatives. Relevant experience with GIS tools, mapping software, or location-based services is highly beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geography, Information Technology, Transportation, or a related field is preferred. Ability to work on-site in the Hanoi Capital Region, with attention to detail, problem-solving capability, and a commitment to data accuracy.
