Position: Mining Surveying Supervisor & Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise topographic field operations at mining sites, ensuring accuracy, compliance with deadlines, and adherence to safety standards.
Organize and manage field survey teams, allocate resources, and monitor progress against work plans.
Review, validate, and approve topographic surveys, point clouds, and deliverables.
Coordinate integration of survey data with engineering, production, and geomatics departments.
Prepare technical reports and maintain effective communication with project managers and clients as needed.
Oversee equipment calibration and field instrumentation (total stations, GNSS, levels).
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations in mining environments.
Requirements:
Solid experience (nearly 10 years) in mining surveying and technical team supervision.
Proficiency in survey equipment (total stations, GNSS, levels), LiDAR data processing, and photogrammetry.
Strong command of geospatial software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS platforms, point cloud processing tools) and ability to review drawings, models, and reports.
Technical or university degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated knowledge of mining industry standards, safety protocols, and best practices.
Strong decision-making skills under pressure, attention to detail, and excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred: Experience on international projects, intermediate technical English proficiency, and familiarity with international mining standards.
