Project Manager / Geomatics Engineer (80–100%) Geomatik und Vermessung Start Date: 1 January 2027 or by mutual agreement Your New Role As Project Manager / Geomatics Engineer, you will serve as a versatile all-rounder within the Department of Geomatics and Surveying. You will lead small and medium-sized projects, primarily in the Surveying Division and occasionally for the Geoinformation Division. Your responsibilities include conducting field data collection, entering and managing this data in various web applications, and producing data outputs and GIS-based analyses. This Role Is for You If: You hold a completed vocational or academic qualification in geomatics or construction. You have initial experience managing surveying and, if applicable, GIS projects. You are accustomed to structured and independent work. You are a versatile all-rounder who values a diverse range of tasks. You are enthusiastic about new acquisition technologies as well as analysis and documentation tools (GIS). You view interdisciplinary collaboration as natural and are eager to work across departments to deliver services for citizens and the administration. Your Department The Department of Geomatics and Surveying is responsible for the official cadastral survey, construction and engineering surveying, and building addressing within the City of St. Gallen.
