To strengthen our team, we are looking IMMEDIATELY for a committed individual to take on the role of Project Manager Mobile Mapping (m/f/d) in our subsidiary GEO Net solution GmbH at one of our locations (Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden, Magdeburg, or Mellingen), playing a key role in our projects.
Responsibilities
Ensure technical quality and customer satisfaction
End-to-end project management: Full responsibility for Mobile Mapping projects from the proposal phase through to project completion
Project leadership and controlling: Independent management and accountability for Mobile Mapping projects within the group
Data acquisition: Planning of data collection campaigns, including coordination of personnel, equipment, and compliance with safety regulations
Quality management: Ensuring high quality of raw data and post-processing results
Data analysis & reporting: Technical evaluation and interpretation of Mobile Mapping data
Customer communication: Primary point of contact for clients; presenting results and deriving actionable recommendations
Technical leadership of project teams (surveying technicians, data analysts)
Proactive identification and implementation of optimization opportunities within your area of responsibility
Profile
Education & Experience
Completed university degree in Geoinformatics, Geodesy, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in surveying, geospatial data acquisition, or processing—ideally in infrastructure contexts (roads, railways, power lines, waterways, etc.)
Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, preferably with large infrastructure clients (e.g., Deutsche Bahn, Autobahn GmbH)
Technical Skills
Strong project management experience for complex projects with major accounts (DB, Autobahn GmbH, etc.)
Solid knowledge of surveying techniques and 3D (LiDAR) data processing
Experience with mobile or stationary measurement systems is advantageous
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Familiarity with GIS environments is beneficial
Personal Skills
Fluent German (negotiation-proof); English skills are a plus
Strong communication skills and team orientation
Quick learning ability and willingness to integrate into new processes and tasks
Independent, structured, and results-oriented work style
Reliability and proactive approach
