Project Manager / Project Manageress for Official Surveying (80–100%)
As part of a motivated team of surveying specialists, you will ensure and continuously improve the quality of the Official Surveying in the Canton of Bern. You will take responsibility for exciting development projects and collaborate closely with municipalities, cadastral update offices, and federal authorities. You will also actively shape cooperation with other government departments and the private sector.
Location: Bern
50% Remote Work
Start Date: 1 February 2027 or by mutual agreement
Your Responsibilities
Conduct periodic audits of cadastral update offices and further develop ongoing quality assurance procedures
Support update offices and municipalities in delineating areas affected by permanent ground movements, including long-term monitoring
Contribute to the transition of Official Surveying to the new DMAV data model
Assist municipalities in correctly awarding contracts
Ensure the maintenance and further development of the cantonal horizontal and vertical reference framework
Your Profile
Degree in Geomatics Engineering (ETH / FH) or equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in official surveying as well as in GIS / geoinformatics
Interest in legal and administrative issues related to official surveying, as well as in new technologies and developments in geomatics
Excellent German (C2); good French (B1) is desirable
