Senior ICT System Engineer – DevSecOps for GIS Platform

Role Overview Become part of the Cyber Command and actively contribute to the digital transformation of the Swiss Armed Forces. You will design, build, operate, and continuously improve a Geoinformation System (GIS) platform following DevSecOps standards. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and operate a GIS platform using DevSecOps practices Drive iterative enhancements in system design and automation Collaborate in an agile environment (SAFe framework) Integrate GIS technologies (e.g., ArcGIS) with modern cloud-native infrastructure (e.g., OpenShift) Automate infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Ansible and GitLab Required Qualifications Proven experience with GIS platforms, especially ArcGIS Strong background in DevSecOps, including containerization, orchestration (e.g., OpenShift), and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Ansible) Experience with GitLab CI/CD and modern DevOps toolchains Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly SAFe Solid English proficiency (written and spoken) Willingness and ability to further develop GIS-specific expertise Benefits Opportunity to contribute to national defense through cutting-edge digital innovation Professional growth in a dynamic, high-impact environment Access to continuous learning and development in GIS, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity
