Surveying Engineer

Company GEK TERNA Group of Companies Terna S.A., part of the GEK TERNA Group, is seeking: Surveying Engineer for a railway infrastructure project. Key Responsibilities Prepare, collect, and process survey data, including alignments and topographic documentation for the project, and support the preparation of tender dossiers. Conduct topographic surveys, mapping, alignments, and marking in accordance with provided instructions and designs. Review designs and drawings, identify errors or omissions, and act per instructions from the Site Manager and Project Director. Extract data required for setting out. Monitor contractors’ correct implementation of established alignments. Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of surveying equipment. Prepare monthly work completion reports. Digitize and process geospatial data. Collaborate directly with other engineers, technical staff, and on-site teams. Required Qualifications Degree in Surveying/Geomatics Engineering (from a Greek Polytechnic University or Technological Educational Institute). 2–5 years of relevant professional experience. Experience supporting surveying activities on infrastructure construction projects is advantageous. Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. Knowledge of EarthW, Díolkos, Fast Terrain, and LGO software is advantageous. Strong command of English (both written and spoken). Competencies Meticulousness, precision, and responsibility.
