What You Can Expect
As a Surveying Engineer / Mine Surveyor for the mining operations of K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH in Bernburg, you will assume the following responsibilities starting as soon as possible:
Preparation, execution, and quality control of above- and below-ground surveying tasks, including selection of appropriate equipment and measurement methods
Development and provision of up-to-date working documents and results for planning and production tasks across departments
Preparation and execution of orientation, movement, and other specialized measurements
Conducting and evaluating subsidence monitoring and ground damage analysis
Continuous professional development and use of modern, computer-aided measurement and evaluation methods and equipment
What You Bring
Successfully completed university degree in mining engineering (Markscheiderei), geomatics, or surveying
Prior work experience or internships in mining operations are desirable
Solid and comprehensive knowledge of GIS and CAD
Experience applying drafting standards, especially for the digital processing of underground maps and cross-sections
Proficient use of surveying instruments, MS Office applications, and surveying software
Willingness to perform, strong teamwork skills, and commitment to lifelong learning
Excellent command of German, both written and spoken, and a valid Class B driver’s license
