About the Role
What You’ll Do
As a Surveying Engineer / Mining Surveyor for the Markscheiderei (mining surveying department) of K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH in Bernburg, you will take over the following responsibilities as soon as possible:
Prepare, execute, and verify both surface and underground surveying tasks—including selection of equipment and measurement methods
Develop and provide up-to-date working documents and results for planning and production tasks across other departments
Conduct orientation, movement, and other specialized measurements
Carry out and evaluate subsidence monitoring and mine damage analysis
Continuously update your skills and apply modern, computer-aided measurement and evaluation techniques and instruments
What You Bring
Successfully completed university degree in Mining Surveying, Geomatics, or Surveying
Prior work experience or internships in mining operations are desirable
Solid and comprehensive knowledge of GIS and CAD
Experience applying drafting standards, especially for the digital processing of underground mine maps and cross-sections
Proficient use of surveying instruments, MS Office applications, and specialized surveying software
Willingness to perform, strong teamwork skills, and commitment to lifelong learning
Excellent written and spoken German; valid driver’s license (Class B)
