What You’ll Do Develop complex geospatial data products and services on RVO’s central data platform, including dashboards, workspaces, data analyses, and data science outputs. Enable efficient data flows between RVO teams and external partners. Coordinate common geodata engineering challenges and ensure quality standards across the Data department by guiding and mentoring colleagues. Stay updated on data engineering trends and advise on their application for internal process improvement. Advance the GEO discipline within RVO in collaboration with colleagues. Support team professionalization and closely cooperate with other teams in the Data department. Maintain stakeholder relationships in data engineering and actively contribute to data working groups. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Minimum HBO or WO (Bachelor’s or Master’s) level of working and thinking ability. At least 5 years of professional experience in the geospatial data field. Broad knowledge of GIS tools and their applications. Demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years) in: - Developing workspaces in FME Form (desktop). - Using FME Flow (server) and its full functionality. - Designing and implementing ETL processes for large datasets from Dutch base registries (e.g., BAG, BGT, BRK). - SQL for Oracle databases. - Core components of the Esri platform: ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Pro. What You’ll Get Salary scale 12: €4,818 – €7,094 gross per month (based on a 36-hour workweek). Fixed-term contract of 1 year with possibility of conversion to permanent, depending on performance and organizational needs. Working hours: 32–36 hours per week.
