About the Position
As part of its expansion in deploying electric charging stations for heavy-duty vehicles, AUTORECHARGE is hiring a Geospatial Analyst – Land Acquisition Specialist.
Reporting directly to management, you will support projects at the pre-development stage by identifying strategic zones and land parcels with the highest potential for new charging station installations.
Your role integrates geographic analysis, mapping, land research, and direct outreach to landowners.
Key Responsibilities
Geospatial Analysis & Mapping
Conduct territorial analyses to identify optimal locations for station deployment;
Collect, integrate, and cross-reference geographic, cadastral, and territorial data;
Pinpoint parcels meeting project-specific criteria;
Generate maps and decision-support materials;
Build and maintain a centralized database of evaluated sites.
Land Research & Qualification
Carry out cadastral and land ownership research;
Identify owners of selected parcels;
Assess key land characteristics: size, accessibility, surrounding environment, and regulatory constraints;
Evaluate land opportunities prior to handover to relevant teams;
Track the status and progress of studied parcels.
Land Acquisition Prospecting
Initiate contact with private landowners, companies, local authorities, and other landholders;
Present project concepts and gauge interest in land sale or lease;
Gather essential information to advance feasibility studies;
Follow up on communications and maintain engagement;
Update prospecting tracking tools and databases.
Profile Sought
Degree in geomatics, geography, urban planning, land management, territorial development, or equivalent;
Proficiency in GIS and mapping tools (especially QGIS), with strong skills in handling and analyzing geospatial data;
Detail-oriented, autonomous, and well-organized, with a strong aptitude for information research and synthesis;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly comfortable with phone outreach to diverse stakeholders;
Prior knowledge of cadastral systems, land issues, urban planning, or the electric vehicle charging infrastructure sector is a plus.
