Geospatial IT Support Specialist for GIS Operations and Data Management

Company: Forsvaret (Danish Defence) Title: Geospatial IT-Supporter til GIS-drift og data The Geospatial Center (GEOCEN) is seeking an experienced military IT support specialist to act as the technical key person responsible for ensuring GIS systems and geospatial data remain available, secure, and stable for operational use. Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain GIS infrastructure and installations Manage and support SQL databases Develop and execute scripts for automation of geospatial workflows Provide technical support in a defense-oriented, high-availability environment Collaborate with operational units to ensure GIS solutions meet mission-critical requirements Requirements: Current or former military personnel with a technical background Strong interest in geospatial technologies and IT systems High proficiency in English (spoken and written) Willingness and eligibility to obtain security clearance Fixed workplace: Skive, Denmark
