The Role
GuD – Gesellschaft für Umweltschutzdienste mbH, part of the Deutsche InfraSoft Group, develops modern GeoIT and GIS solutions for tomorrow’s digital infrastructure. With innovative technologies, intelligent geospatial data solutions, and strong practical orientation, we help municipalities, utilities, and infrastructure operators make their processes more efficient, sustainable, and future-proof.
We are looking for a technically adept professional to join our team immediately in Dresden, who bridges GIS, databases, and programming, and enjoys not only designing but also practically implementing solutions.
As a GIS & Database Engineer (m/f/d), you will work at the intersection of geospatial information, databases, software development, and customer projects. Your responsibilities include:
Analyzing data structures
Developing and automating GIS applications
Optimizing databases
Collaborating with customers to implement tailored solutions
A key component of your role is direct on-site customer support—from requirement analysis and technical implementation to deployment and ongoing assistance.
