Job Description QUALIFICATION Master’s degree in GIS/Space Sciences EXPERIENCE In general, 8 years of relevant work experience in matters related to GIS mapping, MIS, database administration etc. 4 years of experience of working in similar projects/assignments. Job Responsibilities JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Review the available GIS resources, identify gaps, and help procure the appropriate additional hardware and software for maintaining a GIS database. Provide technical input and implementation support in developing a GIS database of the existing water, sanitation and solid waste management systems, and other relevant municipal services in the target tehsils of PRSWSSP. Identify and help procure the appropriate hardware and software for maintaining the GIS-based MIS. Develop GIS mapping system for the project based on the assets data survey in the target tehsils. Develop a GIS-based MIS of the municipal services facilities, and assets, that will be rolled out across the tehsils of PRSWSSP. Develop dashboards to ensure that GIS database is capable of providing quick analysis of trends and comparisons against defined performance standards and parameters.
