Responsibilities
Analyse land opportunities by reviewing cadastral data, ownership information, maps, planning references, access conditions, land use constraints, environmental inputs, and technical documentation to support site screening and feasibility assessment.
Prepare and maintain technical land documentation by compiling plans, maps, site summaries, parcel information, constraint matrices, due diligence checklists, and supporting materials required by land, development, engineering, connection, and permitting teams.
Support field and desktop due diligence by coordinating information on boundaries, easements, rights of way, access routes, topography, nearby infrastructure, utilities, planning restrictions, and other factors that may affect data center development viability.
Coordinate with external surveyors, technical consultants, advisors, landowners, public authorities, and internal stakeholders to obtain, validate, and update land-related technical information in line with project needs and timelines.
Maintain GIS, cadastral, and project tracking information by updating databases, folders, registers, drawings, and trackers to ensure that land status, constraints, risks, and next steps are visible and reliable across the portfolio.
Assist in identifying land-related risks by reviewing technical inputs, legal documentation, planning information, grid connection interfaces, access dependencies, and site constraints, escalating issues that may affect acquisition, permitting, design, or construction.
Support preparation of internal reports and decision materials by providing accurate technical land data, maps, status updates, constraint summaries, and recommendations that enable informed project and investment decisions.
Contribute to continuous improvement of land technical processes by standardising mapping outputs, data collection methods, due diligence templates, documentation practices, and lessons learned across IREN’s land development portfolio.
