Company Beyserin Consulting Sas Title Semi-Senior GIS / Geodata Analyst Description At Beyserin Consulting, we are looking for a Semi-Senior GIS / Geodata Analyst to participate in a project focused on reviewing, validating, and strengthening a database of service stations in Colombia. Key Functions and Responsibilities: Validate geographic coordinates, addresses, and locations of service stations. Analyze and enrich territorial and geospatial information. Cross-check data against sources such as Google Maps and official databases. Identify duplicate records, inconsistencies, and data errors. Execute geocoding and spatial validation processes. Assess and enhance the quality, integrity, and consistency of data. Document findings, validation criteria, and technical decisions. Establish a sustainable protocol for periodic database updates. Escalate cases requiring additional validation in a timely manner. Technical Requirements: Experience with geodata, GIS, geospatial analysis, and data quality. Practical proficiency in QGIS and/or ArcGIS. Knowledge of SQL. Experience in geocoding and spatial validation. Ability to identify inconsistencies and perform quality control on geographic data. Autonomy to conduct analyses, document results, and propose improvements. Preferred Skills: Python and GeoPandas. Google Maps APIs. Handling open data. Location Intelligence.
