Senior Backend Lead - Python + GIS, AI-Driven, Remote-First

pGilytics is seeking a Backend Lead (Python / GIS) to own the server-side engine behind Pathfinder, including geoprocessing, spatial data APIs, and backend services. This is a hands-on senior role reporting to the CTO, with a focus on ownership, architecture, and scalable design. /ppYou will architect and maintain the backend data model and APIs, lead code reviews, and mentor developers while integrating AI into the backend and helping shape the technical roadmap. /p
