Title: Senior TIC Systems Engineer – DevSecOps & GIS Automation
The Cyber Command of the Swiss Army is seeking an IT engineer or specialist with proven expertise in DevSecOps and GIS solution automation to drive the development of secure, containerized, and orchestrated platforms.
This position entails working with ArcGIS, OpenShift, Ansible, and GitLab within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and evolve secure and resilient systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for GIS and TIC (ICT) solutions.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
Integrate security practices into the DevSecOps lifecycle (SAST, DAST, container scanning, compliance checks).
Develop and optimize GIS automation workflows (e.g., geoprocessing, data ingestion, service publishing) using Python, Bash, and ArcGIS APIs.
Support system integration, testing, and operational deployment in hybrid/cloud environments (e.g., OpenShift).
Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Strong experience with DevSecOps practices and tools (CI/CD, GitLab CI, containerization, orchestration).
Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash).
Solid knowledge of GIS technologies (ArcGIS Platform, geoprocessing, spatial data formats).
Familiarity with enterprise platforms (e.g., Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes).
Understanding of modeling standards such as BPMN and ArchiMate.
Ability to obtain security clearance (Swiss military requirements).
