Senior GIS and IT Specialist – Gothenburg, Sweden

Your Assignment Act as technical coordinator for web mapping solutions Maintain and develop data warehouses Take ownership of technical system maintenance for the GIS platform Perform database administration, particularly in PostgreSQL/PostGIS and Oracle Manage scripting, APIs, and integrations between IT systems Collaborate continuously with colleagues across GIS and IT functions Must-Have Qualifications Strong experience in DBA for PostgreSQL and Oracle Proven expertise in scripting, APIs, and IT system integrations Solid experience with the open-source web mapping framework Hajk Experience with Apache Tomcat and IIS General knowledge of Windows server and Linux environments Minimum 5 years of professional experience in each of the following: - Geospatial data (GIS) - Geographic databases - GeoServer - PostgreSQL/PostGIS - Oracle - FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written Merit Criteria (Not Required) Experience working within a municipal organization Understanding of urban planning processes in municipal contexts 📍 Scope: Full-time (40 hours/week) 📍 Location: On-site in Gothenburg 📍 Language: Swedish (fluent) 📍 Assignment Period: 1 January 2027 – 31 December 2027 How to Apply Submit your CV in Swedish, clearly outlining how you meet the requirements.
