Software Developer for Smallworld GIS (m/f/d)
to support our customers in successfully implementing their IT projects.
What awaits you:
Develop and adapt applications within the Smallworld GIS environment
Program using Magik—the core programming language of Smallworld
Integrate Smallworld into existing IT systems, such as SAP, interfaces, web services, or MCP
Design data models and support data migration initiatives
Analyze errors, perform debugging, and optimize performance of existing applications
Execute Smallworld GIS updates and release transitions
What we’re looking for:
Completed university degree in Geoinformatics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
Proven experience with Smallworld technologies, including SW Core and NRM
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Magik programming
Solid understanding of GIS data structures and spatial data
Analytical, structured, and independent working style
Excellent German and good English language skills
