About the Role
Job Description
As a Surveying Engineer / Mine Surveyor for our Markscheiderei (mine surveying department) at KS Minerals and Agriculture GmbH in Bernburg, you will assume the following responsibilities from the earliest possible date:
Prepare, conduct, and verify both surface and underground surveying tasks, including selection of appropriate equipment and measurement methods
Develop and provide up-to-date working documents and results for planning and production tasks across other departments
Prepare and carry out orientation, movement, and other specialized measurements
Conduct and evaluate subsidence monitoring and mine damage analysis
Continuously update your skills and apply modern, computer-aided measurement and evaluation techniques and tools
Your Profile
Successfully completed university degree in mining surveying (Markscheiderei), geomatics, or surveying
Prior experience or internships in mining operations are desirable
Solid and comprehensive knowledge of GIS and CAD
Experience applying drafting standards, especially for the digital processing of underground mine maps and drawings
Proficient use of surveying instruments and MS Office applications as well as specialized surveying software
Willingness to perform, strong team skills, and commitment to lifelong learning
Excellent command of German (written and spoken) and a valid Class B driver’s license
