Position: Bachelor/Master/Dipl.-Ing. in Surveying & Geodesy as Trainee Civil Servant (w/m/d)
You have successfully completed your studies in surveying, geodesy, or geoinformatics and are seeking an entry-level position with a clear public service mission? Apply your expertise at the Surveying Office of the Landkreis Konstanz and begin your 18-month preparatory service for the higher surveying technical administrative service.
The civil servant training program consists of both practical and theoretical phases, during which you will rotate through various training locations. You will gain hands-on experience integrating theory with geodetic practice, while also learning to apply legal and administrative regulations, as well as develop methodical and economically sound administrative practices.
Upon successful completion of the state examination, you can look forward to excellent prospects for permanent appointment as a civil servant and diverse responsibilities across the entire surveying and land consolidation administration.
Responsibilities
Land Registry and Land Consolidation:
Rotations at the Landkreis Konstanz Surveying Office, a lower-level land consolidation authority, and the State Office for Geoinformation and Land Development (LGL).
State Surveying and Geospatial Infrastructure:
Assignments at the LGL.
Property Valuation, Land Management, and Urban Planning:
Placement at a municipal administration.
Supplementary Training Courses:
Additional courses to deepen your professional knowledge.
State Examination:
Final assessment of the preparatory service before the examination committee of the LGL.
Profile
Completed degree (Bachelor, Master, or Dipl.-Ing.) in surveying, geodesy, geoinformation/geomatics, or a comparable qualification.
Citizenship of an EU member state or Germany.
Fulfillment of civil service eligibility requirements per §7 of the Civil Service Status Act (Beamtenstatusgesetz).
Very good German language skills (minimum level C1).
