Responsibilities Your responsibilities:
Teaching a Master-level course in Geo Information Systems and Spatial Data Applications
Preparing and delivering approximately 50 contact hours of on-site teaching
Covering topics such as spatial data management, spatial analysis, geospatial modelling, hydrological modelling, geostatistics, cartography, geocoding, spatial ETL and GIS data mining
Providing practical application of GIS tools, especially ArcGIS and QGIS
Supervising practical exercises and supporting students in applying GIS methods to environmental and engineering-related use cases
Academic responsibility for the examination, assessment and grading of student performance
Your Profile
M.Sc. in a relevant field or equivalent
Full professional proficiency in English
Valid working visa (contract not eligible for visa sponsorship)
Experience in teaching or practical industry work in areas such as GIS, spatial data analysis, geospatial modelling, geostatistics, hydrological modelling, spatial ETL, or cartography
Practical experience with ArcGIS and/or QGIS
Willingness for on-site teaching
