The Digital & Technology department at Schiphol’s mission is to deliver technology that makes every journey enjoyable, predictable, and capable of unlocking new possibilities—every meter of our airport. We provide reliable technology to help position Schiphol among Europe’s top 3 airports.
Department
Schiphol Infrastructure is focused on implementing the Schiphol Masterplan, investing significantly over the next decade to renew our infrastructure. Major projects such as the C-pier renovation and the new South Terminal will help bring Schiphol back into the top tier of European airports.
Within Schiphol Infrastructure, the Business Platform Infrastructure & Projects (BPIIP) is responsible for the IT systems needed to achieve set objectives—with safety always as the top priority. This ensures continuity of assets by keeping systems secure and up-to-date.
Additionally, BPIIP is continuously adapting to the new way of working within ASM and Schiphol. We develop new tools for ASM, such as a management dashboard for Operations. The GEO-ICT team operates more broadly: we also provide maps for bird control officers, field inspection maps for cleaning contractors, and wayfinding maps for passengers navigating the terminal.

You will use your talents to:
Contribute to the digitalization goals of Infrastructure.
Improve the quality and backlog of Schiphol Maps (built on our Esri system), which the GEO-Team is actively developing.
Make the passenger experience more predictable and enable more possibilities—every square meter of the airport.

For this position, you have:
Completed HBO or WO education (preferably with a focus on ICT and/or GIS).
At least 10 years of experience as a GEO-ICT professional with Esri product expertise.
Solid knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and FME.
Experience automating workflows with Python (ArcPy / ArcGIS API for Python).
Knowledge of Windows Server environments (installations, firewalls, proxies, certificates, NginX, etc.).
Foundational knowledge of Web GIS, including working with API requests.
Experience with Git, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
You Get This
Gross monthly salary between €4,851 and €6,754 (Scale 11).
A 13th month.
Option to work 4 days of 9 hours per week (36-hour workweek).
A company iPhone.
A home-working allowance of €3.00 net per day.
