At CGI, we’re looking for a GIS Developer to design and automate geospatial solutions for government organizations in infrastructure and water management. Your Role in the Team As a GIS Developer, you will design, build, and maintain geospatial solutions within complex IT environments. You’ll combine GIS knowledge with software and data engineering to deliver reliable and scalable systems. Specifically, you will: Develop GIS solutions using Esri technologies (ArcGIS Desktop/Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, GeoWeb) Automate data flows and processes using FME and/or Python Perform data conversions and integrations across diverse systems Collaborate with platform administrators, architects, and functional managers Align solutions with client needs and translate business requirements into technical implementations Provide maintenance, optimization, and further development of existing solutions How You Strengthen Our Team You are analytical, content-driven, and work in a structured manner. You take ownership of your deliverables and can work effectively both independently and in teams. Requirements Completed HBO or WO degree in Geo-informatics, ICT, or a related field Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a GIS developer Experience with Esri products (ArcGIS Desktop/Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise) Experience with FME for data conversion and automation Basic scripting knowledge (Python preferred) Collaborative mindset with sufficient autonomy Fluent Dutch is required for this vacancy.
