At CGI, we are looking for a GeoServer / GeoNetwork Specialist to maintain and further develop open-source GIS platforms for government organizations in infrastructure and water management.
Your role in our team
As a GeoServer / GeoNetwork Specialist, you are responsible for the technical operation and continuous development of open-source GIS platforms within complex OTAP environments.
You
Maintain and optimize GeoServer and GeoNetwork environments (Linux, PostgreSQL/PostGIS)
Analyze performance of services and datasets (OGC: WMS, WFS, WCS)
Automate deployments via CI/CD (Cloud Foundry)
Independently execute changes and migrations
Collaborate with architects, developers, and functional administrators
Contribute to availability reports and P1 evaluations
How you strengthen our team
You have solid knowledge and experience in technical platform management. You are well-organized, possess strong analytical skills, and are meticulous. You communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally: you say what you do and do what you say. You collaborate effectively with others to achieve the required results.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience with open-source GIS platforms:
Experience with GeoServer and/or GeoNetwork
Experience with Linux administration (Red Hat)
Experience with PostgreSQL / PostGIS
Knowledge of OGC standards (WMS, WFS, etc.)
Bonus qualifications:
QGIS
CI/CD (Cloud Foundry)
Apache / Tomcat / JBoss
Network infrastructure (firewalls, proxies)
ITIL / Topdesk
Fluent Dutch is required for this vacancy.
